DassoXTR Bamboo Outdoor Living Deck in Seattle

This Seattle deck replacement project transformed a failing 30-year-old structure into a modern, inviting outdoor living space designed for entertaining and everyday enjoyment. The original deck had extensive rot and structural issues and no longer matched the home’s recently updated interior. Our goal was to create a seamless extension of the house that felt natural, durable, and purpose built for gathering with friends and family.

Through detailed consultations and multiple design iterations, we selected DassoXTR bamboo decking in Cognac for its natural wood appearance and high-performance durability. The deck was raised to align with the home’s large kitchen doors, expanded to maximize usable space, and enhanced with custom built-in benches and a privacy wall that integrates surrounding trees. Custom welded window wells were installed to preserve basement light, resulting in a thoughtful, high-quality build that the homeowners proudly celebrated with friends.
